Elle, you put into words some feelings Iāve had for a looong time. Thanks for being honest! For what itās worth, as different as copywriting is from the Art (I am also a freelance copywriter!), I like to think Iām still practicing skills that will serve the Art. Even on days when all Iām writing is SMS copy. It doesnāt always help, but sometimes it works to keep me just right of the resentment line. š

no thatās so true! I think the pressure of copywriting deadlines has helped me think less and be less precious in my own writing
